This specialised interactive workshop supports women in navigating the unique vocal biases and leadership expectations they face. Through scientifically proven interactive exercises, reflective practice, and scenario­ based activities, participants will gain tools to claim their space vocally – without compromising authenticity- and develop vocal habits that support confidence, presence, and professional influence.

Key Learning Objectives

  • Understand the neuroscience of vocal influence and its effect on listener perception.
  • Recognise different vocal styles and personal vocal patterns.
  • Uncover and address internalised and external biases around women’s voices.
  • Establish vocal techniques that enhance clarity, presence, collaboration and authority.
  • Manage connection vs authority expectations.
    Understand the relationship between confidence, nervous system state, and voice.
  • Gain techniques to manage vocal anxiety, regulate nervous system response, and develop vocal strength and stability
  • Develop a personalised “vocal presence plan” to suit leadership style and goals.
  • Discover strategies to ensure contributions are ‘heard’ in all environments.
  • Practice high-stakes conversations, impromptu contributions and presentations with live coaching and feedback.

Women in leadership, or high-potential female team members, who would like to develop authority, impact and confidence in their voices and vocal communication.

Duration

Full day. Can be reduced to a half-day, or long half-day, if required. Can also be delivered in a series of shorter sessions.
